    Wow! The Nehruvian Socialists actually thought like this!

    The intent was to ensure "Domestic labour" didnt become "slaves to the foreign consumer". Instead domestic labour became a slave to domestic poverty (which obviously seemed like a better option to our policy-makers!!) Now lets see how this played out in our exports:- (2/n)

    In Indian Secularism, all Religions are equal. But one is more equal than others. Nehru created it, Modi Govt is perpetuating it by not correcting the laws.

    In Secular India, 1) Jainism doesn't permit food from Mμslims ("Mlechhas" in Jain literature). But if a minority Jain follows this rule, he will be called communal & arrested. 2)Mμslim religion DOES NOT permit Halal food from Non-Mμslims. But Mμslim who follows this is secular.

    यह समझने में बहुत देर लग गई सरकार को, अभी भी मुझे आशा नहीं है कि अफसर बिरादरी यह स्वीकार करेगी। हो सकता है कि इस तरह का आदेश सुनकर वे सरकार के विरुद्ध हो जाए। इनकी महत्ता कम करने का इससे अच्छा मौका फिर नहीं आयेगा।

    Indian bureaucracy works on the principle, 'banned until explicitly allowed'. For the first time, the principle may be flipped to 'allowed until explicitly banned' Or may be not! The control freak Indian bureaucracy is incapable to think that way!
