    My mother saluting the national flag and reading out her speech. 80+, COVID survivor, she instilled patriotism in her boys. I still get goosebumps when I hear the national anthem. Long live my Republic.

    We need to invigorate Indology not only as an academic exercise but as a tool for understanding the depth and breadth of India. From scientists to industrialists, from artistes to politicians, millennials and critics, all should find it useful.

    Indology is the study of all aspects of India. Historic & contemporary, exalted & mundane, academic & pragmatic, religious & secular, good & bad. India is too big & too diverse for anyone to have a complete picture. What you get is what you search.
