Spoke to PM Sheikh Hasina to wish her and the friendly people of Bangladesh, a happy & prosperous Eid-ul-Fitr. We discussed the impact of cyclone Amphan and the present COVID-19 situation. Reiterated India’s continued support to Bangladesh in this challenging time.

Anguished by the demise of former MP Dr. Nepal Singh Ji. He would be remembered for his numerous community service efforts. He played a key role in strengthening the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. Condolences to his family and supporters in this sad hour. Om Shanti.

Have been seeing visuals from West Bengal on the devastation caused by Cyclone Amphan. In this challenging hour, the entire nation stands in solidarity with West Bengal. Praying for the well-being of the people of the state. Efforts are on to ensure normalcy.

My thoughts are with the people of Odisha as the state bravely battles the effects of Cyclone Amphan. Authorities are working on the ground to ensure all possible assistance to the those affected. I pray that the situation normalises at the earliest.
