Update: On this incident tells me that a case has been registered against the home guard and action is being taken. Police force needs to be sensitised.

Read and try to process response, they say that the child doesn’t have a fracture but ‘an ordinary injury’. Should we laud the cops for not completely breaking the child’s hand? hope you take note of this.

Why this brutality ? Does certain class/name/appearance gives police ten times more power to use force and beat .

Thank God, Bareilly Police didn't break his hand. Disgusting, Shameful, Deplorable & Insensitive behavior by some miscreants police officials. They are running pillar to post wid b'day cakes & flowers for image makeover, but truth is they treats poor and rich kids differently.

Men in Khakhi are not our masters. In the last few days, we have had an incident of a child claiming he was beaten while trying to sell bananas, migrants claiming they were thrashed when they sat down on the road to eat and now this. And this was just this week.

It’s so disturbing. I’m still trying to process response. In BOLD they write “फ़्रैक्चर नहीं बल्कि साधारण चोट” Unbelievable.

Where in the world do policemen behave like this! This needs much tougher action up the authority chain against an ethos that thinks this is acceptable.

Are we suppose to be thankful that UP cops didn’t break the child’s hand but left him only with ‘ordinary injury’?

Must read report to understand the 'atma samman' feeling of the migrant. The apathy of the Govt is stark when it terms the repatriation train arrangement of the workers as 'Shramik' & that of the flight arrangement for people from around the world as 'Vande Bharat' !

On this- says the veracity of the incident has been ascertained on preliminary investigation. Sub-Inspector Saurabh Sharma has been suspended, probe ordered. This was simply unacceptable behaviour, hope cops are sensitised.
