    If you aren’t approved for the COVID-19 stream, you may be able to use our free filtered stream with an approved dev account. You must update your use case & still need to comply with our terms. Our docs share how to create a similar filter on COVID-19 👇

    “My application was rejected. Why?” This can happen for a number of reasons. The most common are not having the technical capability/plans for high data volume, lack of details in the app, unclear use for public good, or privacy concerns with how this data will be used/shared.

    97% of those approved so far are researchers. 🔎 Most often, they want to study how misinformation spreads, public perceptions of policies or official statements, or long-term impacts of the virus on mental health, vulnerable communities, & social behavior.

    Applications, by the numbers 📊 🌏🌍🌎35+ countries are represented by all applicants 🎓70% are academic researchers 💼18% are commercial & non-commercial orgs 🧑‍💻12% are independent developers and/or researchers We are not limiting how many can be approved to use this data.
