As we grow our business in a way that makes us proud, Twitter faces a number of issues in Washington, D.C. that affect -- or could affect -- Twitter and our users. Expanding our involvement in the policy debate and the political process is an important part of getting our voice heard on issues that could impact the company’s goals and our users’ interests. To better support and defend our users, Twitter has created #PAC.

Twitter #PAC files regular reports with the Federal Election Commission. You can find them all here.

In addition to #PAC, Twitter has two registered lobbyists in Washington, who currently focus on issues such as Internet freedom, national security surveillance reform, ECPA reform and patent litigation reform. As the company grows, it has become even more important to advocate for or against policies, as appropriate, that could affect Twitter and our users.
