Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed in February after two men confronted him while he was running through a neighborhood in Brunswick, in Glynn County. Shortly after a video allegedly showing the incident surfaced online, Tom Durden, a Georgia district attorney, released a statement recommending the case be presented to the grand jury of Glynn County “for consideration of criminal charges against those involved” in Arbery’s death. There have been no charges against the father and son involved in the shooting, who said they suspected Arbery was a burglar.
