  2. "Reopen the economy" is a euphemism for "let the poor people die" the same way that dog-whistling "George Soros" is a euphemism for "global Jewish conspiracy." Everybody wants the economy to reopen, but nobody should be forced to get infected and die from it.

    The emerging clinical picture is disturbing: big hints of significant long-term effects that will be incurable. I think we now have a sense of where most risk is: indoors, talking, closed/AC ventilation etc. as opposed to outdoors/fleeting contact. I'll avoid the high-risk stuff!

    We all know that the vast majority of deaths are in nursing homes. We dug down into the numbers and found that not all nursing homes have the same outcomes. There are 4x more deaths in for-profit homes.
