Why lease a Mitsubishi
The automotive division was officially named Mitsubishi Motors in 1970 but their cars have been in production since as early as 1917. Their first motor was the Model A - a hand-assembled seven-seater sedan and in 1937 they went on to create the PX33 four-wheel drive, the first passenger car to be built in Japan. They manufactured an electric bus in 1947 and developed their scooter model which led to their passenger car production line. As the 1960s progressed, so did Mitsubishi, producing the Mitsubishi 500 saloon for the consumer market and their first micro-compact. The Galant released in 1969 was a hit and secured the company's place at the forefront of mass car manufacture.
Nowadays, the Shogun is a best-seller, winning numerous international awards. To this day, Mitsubishi retains a presence in more than 170 countries worldwide and has manufacturing operations in more than 30 of them, placing it in the upper echelons of modern automotive production.
