Since 1989, North America has experienced the class and elegance of Infiniti vehicles, beginning with the Q45 saloon and M30 2 door coupe. The Infiniti vehicles are often premium or luxury editions of the Nissan Models, and the originals are no different to this. The Q45 was based on the Nissan President and boasted a V8 engine, four-wheel steering and active suspension.

the M30 was a 2 door luxury sports car similar to the Nissan Leopard. The G series was released in the 2000s and was immediately popular, the Infiniti G35 was based on the successful Nissan Skyline and received numerous accolades including Motor Trend Car of the Year 2003. This series established infinity as the "Japanese BMW", a much vyed for the title in the Japanese luxury car market.
