Mazda Car Leases

Mazda have put the "zoom-zoom" in the Japanese car industry since it was founded in Japan almost a century ago. The company started life in 1920 as the Toyo Cork Kogyo Co. Ltd. manufacturing tools until 1931 when it produced the Mazda-Mazdago, a three-wheeled truck which could be considered to be the first autorickshaw. After this they turned to producing vehicles. The company expanded to North America during the 1950s and 1960s and produced the Mazda Rotary Pickup especially for the American market.

Why lease a Mazda

The brand didn't officially become Mazda until 1984, when it made itself known as a sports-oriented company releasing cars such as the Mazda R630. In 1987 the RX-7 was named "Import Car Of The Year" by Motor Trend Magazine after breaking numerous speed records and the record for winning 67 races in ISMA. Due to the success of Mazda within motor racing, other models also became popular including the RX-8 and the MX-5 Roadster.

Previously known as a sports car manufacturer, Mazda turned their attention to creating more environmentally friendly cars in the 1990s. After the release of the Miller Cycle engine in 1995, Mazda proved to be an innovative and ground-breaking car manufacturer. The company's hybrid cars have received a great reaction from the consumer public, with the most popular models including the Mazda 6/Atenza family sedan, the Mazda Verisa supermini, the Mazda8/MPV and the Mazda 3/Axela compact car.
