    Trying to read other people’s modern PHP code is infuriating. Are these people getting paid per file? Are all of these meaningless getters and setters serving anyone? How deep can they make these class hierarchies for simple things? If you want to write Java, fucking write Java.

    Astounding data on card spending. Overall down 31%. Down over 100% for Airlines, Lodging, Cruises. Only categories up: Grocery, Online Electronics. Grocery surged early (hoarding), then tapered off. Electronics grew over time (boredom).

    This US consumer spending data by category (down 30% YOY as of 3/24) from is stunning.
