At Novara Media we’re building a new media for a different politics. We believe in the need for high-quality journalism that rises to the challenges of the 21st century. Investigating under-reported stories and elevating critical perspectives are central to this mission. But we’re not there, yet.

We’re independent, fast-growing, and built on the generosity of our subscribers. Unlike most mainstream media organisations, we don’t have corporate shareholders or hedge fund backing, we don’t have advertisers and we’re not run for profit. We’re building a legacy – guaranteeing a place for strong, politically-committed left-wing institutions in the digital landscape.

Our output actively seeks to feed back into political action. We need to present diverse left perspectives and host our own internal debate. Your support means more in-depth reports, more videos and sustainable pay for our writers and editors. It also means we can buy more equipment, build infrastructure and further cement our place in the world of digital media.
