WooCommerce Services

Description

WooCommerce Services makes basic eCommerce features like shipping more reliable by taking the burden off of your site’s infrastructure.

With WooCommerce Services, critical services are hosted on Automattic’s best-in-class infrastructure, rather than relying on your store’s hosting. That means your store will be more stable and faster.

To use the features, simply install this plugin and activate the ones you want directly in your dashboard. As we add more services, you’ll see more features available directly in WooCommerce – making setup simpler.

Not sure what all the one star reviews are about. It works fine for me. Saves me money on buying USPS labels

I was having issues with my taxes not being automated for CA. I tried to figure it out myself, but was having a hard time. I reached out to Woocommerce support and they were able to help me out. Turns out my Jetpack was having issues with the url link provided, but they were able to resolve it and then my taxes were being automated again. I don't use Jetpack for anything else because I have other plugins, but for now it's working correctly with the automated tax, so I'm going to keep using it 🙂 Thanks to Woocommerce support for fixing it for me.

Do not trust this plugin - I trusted the automated tax calculations that they like the boast about and unfortunately lost $100's worth of lost taxes because of a glitch/bug/issue with the tax's not properly calculating for the province of QC. Luckily I discovered this fairly early on when the numbers seemed off. Could have been worse. I added the tax rates myself since. Needless Plugin that makes itself appear as though its required. Delete ASAP serves no purpose.

The automated taxes do not work. Even with the nexus set correctly, and using a correct in-zipcode shipping address... nothing. Additionally, when you switch between auto and manual taxes, this plugin ERASES ALL OF YOUR STANDARD TAX RATES. It is obscene how much of a POS this plugin is. Stay away!
