Donald Trump suspends travel to the US from Europe for 30 days to limit coronavirus spread

Speaking from the Oval Office, the US president declared the suspension of travel from Europe, not including the United Kingdom, would begin on Friday. Trump originally said the ban would "not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval," however, the White House later clarified cargo and trade was exempt from the rule.

Officers in riot gear attended the scene and shot pepper balls at students, according to student-run publication Flyer News.
