  4. When I did the Faiz thread a bunch of sanghis stormed into my mentions about how I am unaware of good poetry and I need to read Dinkar. Its a very common misconception that the man was a right winger due to him invoking Hindu imagery in his poems. Here's a debunk (1/6)

Deeply hurt to see people I love being so hateful today. You hide on Whatsapp & cheer for the murders in Delhi? You justify the horrible violence? For what? Because of an ideology? Because 'they' got their own country during partition, but we still have to put up with 'them'? 1/3

  17. पता है नफ़रत क्यूँ जीती? क्यूँकि वो दोनों तरफ़ है। All of us have been blinded by hate. Please stop and introspect. All of us are driving the same narrative. जो क़त्ल हुए हैं, उनके घरवालों से कौन नज़रें मिलाएगा? कौन समझाएगा उन्हें सत्य और अहिंसा का संघर्ष? कुछ देर तो रुक के सोचो।

Heartbreaking images and stories. This is a result of the hate for “the other” that is so deeply embedded in our collective conscience. If we want a better world, each one of us will have to step up and defeat this hatred. Let’s strive for peace and hope for healing.

The clarification by AAP on the sedition prosecution sanction sounds like it came from BJP’s Whatsapp machine. The job of the state govt. IS to decide whether a sedition case is fit to prosecute. Only then does the judiciary step in. Hope the saffron pants fit well, Kejriwal.
