La Nina-like rain as tropical moisture plunges across Victoria

Parts of Victoria and southern NSW have picked up their heaviest rain since the 2011 La Niña as tropical moisture dives into southeastern Australia.  Ex-Tropical Cyclone Esther and a deep low pressure trough have caused a large mass of tropical moisture to move over eastern and southeastern Australia this week.
