    The TRF originates from the 74th (Yeomanry) Division, who fought in Palestine, France & Flanders. Originally a broken spur to signify mounted regiments that were re-roled as infantry, it was mended to show that the Regiment was mounted again.

    Some see the Tanks as the pinnacle of firepower, manoeuvre and protection technology on the Battlefield. Our Anti-Tank Platoon just see them as targets. They are conducting their cadres and training now in Warcop so they are .

    The RWY training in Warcop in 1966. Despite knowing that the regiment was being cut in 1967, training continued. A (RWY) Sqn continued and another re raised just 4 years later, showing a muddled strategic defence review. Our soldiers deserved clear thinking from their leaders.

    Absolutely.

    I think the most important aspect to applying mission command is all of the planning that you, as leaders must conduct before letting it happen - particularly the recce. You have to make sure your direction works in order to set your guys up for success - you have to be involved
