Mark Zuckerberg has declared that Facebook is 'going to stand up for free expression' in spite of the fact it will 'piss off a lot of people'.  The controversial CEO, 35, made the claim during a fiery appearance at the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit in Utah on Friday.  Zuckerberg told the audience that Facebook had previously tried to resist moves that would be branded as 'too offensive' - but says he now believes he is being asked to partake in 'excessive censorship'. 

An apparent suicide note (left) handwritten by Fotis Dulos (centre) before he gassed himself in his garage insists he is innocent of murdering wife Jennifer (right) and apologizes to his new girlfriend for 'not continuing the fight'. 'If it takes my head to end this, so be it,' says the suicide note obtained by DailyMail.com and believed to be Dulos'. The note, neatly written in blue ink on lined paper, is dated January 28 - the day Dulos attempted to take his own life by carbon monoxide poisoning (inset). It goes on to claim that the state fabricated the 'story' of his guilt and alleges that his lawyers can explain 'what happened with the bags on Albany Avenue'. The suspected murderer also proclaims the innocence of his alleged accomplice Troconis and civil attorney Kent Mawhinney. Jennifer disappeared on May 24 after dropping their children off at school. Her car has never been found.

The incident took place at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, where American Flight 2212 was preparing to depart to Houston in the evening. But passengers grew alarmed at the unusual sight - a man boarded wearing a gas mask (right) over his face and a black beanie covering his head. 'Just FYI flight 2212 to Houston was delayed an hour because you let this guy on the plane wearing a gas mask,' Joseph Say wrote on Twitter. 'This then panicked people on the plane and we had to wait for him to be escorted off.' NEW Meghan, 38, will make multiple appearances on the upcoming Canadian reality show 'I Do, Redo,' which is about couples planning a second wedding after disaster ruins their ceremony, a source tells Page Six. The show will be hosted by Toronto wedding stylist Jessica Mulroney, who is a close friend and confidant of Meghan. It follow's Meghan and Harry's vow to become 'financially independent' after stepping down from the Royal family.

NEW Donald Trump made a rare admission on Saturday that he was playing golf, tweeting a photo of himself at his West Palm Beach golf course with the caption: 'Getting a little exercise this morning!' In the photo, Trump, wearing a white golf shirt and read 'Make America Great Again' hat, is teeing off at one of the holes at his Florida course.   Neither the president nor his staff talks much about Trump's golf habit or who he plays with. 

Rep. Rashida Tlaib encouraged a crowd of Bernie Sanders supporters to boo Hillary Clinton over the 2016 Democratic nominee saying that 'nobody liked' the Vermont senator. Tlaib was serving as an opening act alongside Reps. Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal at a rally Sanders was supposed to attend - though he phoned in instead, as he didn't leave President Trump's impeachment trial in Washington on time.

Kobe Bryant's widow posted a heartbreaking photo (left) on Instagram remembering her late husband and their 13-year-old daughter who perished in Sunday's helicopter crash in Calabasas on the same night the Lakers paid tribute to their memory during an emotional game at Staples Center in Los Angeles. 'There is no #24 without #2,' Vanessa Bryant (seen in the right photo with her late husband and their four children) wrote in the caption of the Instagram post showing two empty chairs along courtside at the Staples Center. The Los Angeles Lakers paid tribute to Kobe Bryant, 41, and 13-year-old Gianna Bryant in their first game since the two died in a helicopter crash on January 26. Lebron James (inset) gave a passionate and tearful speech honoring Bryant, calling him a 'brother' and 'one of the best fathers.'

The woman, 33, who works in Wuhan, arrived at hospital in Lanzhou, China, with a temperature of 102F and 'coarse' breathing after suffering from a cough for five days. The scans show white patches in the lower corners of the lungs. This indicates what radiologists call ground glass opacity - the partial filling of air spaces in the lungs. White patches appeared more prominent on day three despite treatment (right) which ruled out the possibility of pneumonia.

Michael Sanchez (right), the brother of Bezos' girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, filed a suit stating that the Amazon boss defamed him by falsely claiming that he was the source of the naked photos of Bezos that ended up in the hands of the Enquirer. In January 2019, the Enquirer exposed Bezos' extramarital affair with Lauren (pictured together right), including quoting from text messages between the pair. Last week, the Enquirer said Michael was the source and he allegedly received a $200,000 payment from the paper.

Roughly 500 protesters convened at Grand Central on Friday night - holding signs that read 'Cops out of MTA', '$2.75 is not worth human life.' Besides the action at Grand Central, protesters also vandalized station walls across the city and glued areas where commuters are to swipe their train cards to access the turnstiles. Protesters also put up locks on station doors, allowing multiple people access to train platforms without having to pay the $2.75 fare. Five people were arrested during the demonstration.

American sensation Sofia Kenin became the latest unlikely Grand Slam champion in women's tennis when her relentless persistence proved too much for Garbine Muguruza in the Australian Open final. Displaying shades of two other Florida-raised players with East European roots - Maria Sharapova and Monica Seles - she battled through a high quality set to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in two hours and three minutes. Born in Moscow but having grown up in the US, there is no reason she cannot now buy the apartment she wants in Manhattan after earning $2.8 million for her surprise triumph. 

Jim Carrey [left] was branded 'rude', 'awkward', and 'creepy' when he made a joke about Margot Robbie [right], suggesting she had a successful career in Hollywood thanks to her good looks. The actor, 58, and the actress, 29, appeared on Friday's edition of The Graham Norton Show to promote their respective films when he joked: 'It's incredible that you've got as far as you have with your obvious physical disadvantages.' Margot appeared to take the joke in good humour as she laughed at the quip Jim had made, but viewers were not as convinced.

Harvey Weinstein said accuser Jessica Mann's claims that his genitalia is 'physically deformed' and he has no testicles was 'perfect'. Former aspiring actress Jessica Mann testified about her relationship with Harvey Weinstein on Friday. Mann, 34, a hairstylist, told the jury the first time she saw Weinstein, 67, naked she thought he was 'intersex' or a burns victim, claiming he does not have testicles and his penis 'looks like a vagina'. When a reporter later asked Weinstein outside court if Mann's description of his body was accurate, he laughed and replied, 'Yeah, perfect'. Mann testified that on one occasion, Weinstein made her massage his blackhead-covered back with lotion. During a breakfast meeting at a hotel, Mann told the court Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on her. She said she faked an orgasm and told him 'it was the best I ever had,' even though she was 'horrified'. Mann alleges Weinstein raped her in his New York City hotel room in March 2013, when she was 27 and he was 61.

A new video has emerged revealing the confessed gunman from the deadly 2018 shootings at a high school in Parkland, Florida, displaying bizarre behavior before brawling with a prison guard at a jail in Broward County. The footage from 2018 shows Nikolas Jacob Cruz, now 21, circling tables in a common area at the jail while being watched by a sheriff's deputy. The deputy orders Cruz to stop dragging his feet, to which he responds with a finger gesture and then charges the deputy. A violent brawl ensues and at one point Cruz grabs the officer's taser, which goes off without affecting him or the deputy. The officer gets the taser back, while Cruz finally breaks away, goes off camera for a short while, returns and surrenders.The fight lasted a minute. Cruz is charged with killing 17 people and wounding 17 others in the shooting that took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018. He is expected to stand a death penalty, which has been delayed to this summer.

A former secretary to Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson (pictured, right) has rejected comparisons between the American socialite and Meghan Markle (pictured with Prince Harry, right). Johanna Schutz, who served the Duke and Duchess of Windsor for eight years after the 1936 abdication, insisted the former Suits star 'doesn't come close in terms of style and sophistication'. She added: 'It's all a pity. If only the Royal family had known her. The Duchess was a wonderful woman.'

Keith Smith shocked the country when he told how his Good Samaritan wife, Jacquelyn, had been stabbed to death by a panhandler as she offered him money while they were stopped a Baltimore intersection. His tearful appearances on TV news stunned Baltimore and the rest of the country, and even led to Oprah Winfrey - a one-time Baltimore resident - weighed in when she tweeted: 'This story struck my heart. I've done this a 1k times. But will think twice before ever doing again.' But the 53-year-old man is just months away from a murder trial now, after his daughter, Valeria Smith, 29 (right), admitted to helping him cover up 54-year-old Jacquelyn's December 2018 slaying. Keith (at left with Jacquelyn and inset) was charged with first-degree murder in March 2019, after police investigated his panhandler claims and came to believe that they were untrue.

Mumbai police have come up with an ingenious strategy to keep honking to a minimum - a rigged traffic light system which resets the red signal if the sound of car horns goes above 85 decibels. The Punishing Signal is comprised of a decibel reader connected to traffic lights. Footage shows baffled drivers and motorcyclists raising their hands in irritation while they try and work out whats going on. A huge billboard then lights up with the words, 'Honk more, wait more', and prompts passersby to start laughing and taking pictures. At then end of the video, the police officer says: 'Feel free to honk, that is, if you don't mind waiting!'

David Fernández, 26, has rescued more than 500 stray cats and dogs from the streets of Santiago in his mission to make a 'real change' and create a world without 'angels suffering on the streets'. The dogs, which often have mange, matted fur and are critically malnourished, then undergo months of rehabilitation in David's care before finally being fostered or re-homed. The animal lover has shared a series of snapshots of the once neglected pups to his social media before and after their rescue. Pictured left-right: a 'warrior' dog who was mostly bald when he was rescued; Salvador who bounced back; Maple who went from malnourished the thriving; a dog who's healed his scabbing skin; an incredible transformation after just 16 days.

Dain Yoon, 26, from Seoul, South Korea, has earned more than 607,000 Instagram followers thanks to her incredible artworks - all of which were created without using Photoshop. One of her most recent looks (pictured top left) saw the talented makeup artist blend into an Apple MacBook. It's another round of Mean Tweets on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and in honor of the upcoming Super Bowl, a bunch of NFL stars came by to read some pretty gnarly passages about themselves sent out into the Twittersphere. Most notable among them was Mr. Gisele Bundchen himself, Tom Brady, who was repeatedly lambasted for his penchant for crying, among other things. In the undeniably amusing clip, Brady, 42, begins by reading a particularly crass excerpt, as REM's dirge Everybody Hurts starts up in the background. 

Perdita, a four-year-old domestic shorthair, was adopted by Mitchel County Animal Shelter in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. The animal shelter nicknamed her the 'world's worst cat' for her behavior. A post describing the cats likes and dislikes went viral, and it encouraged 175 people to apply to adopt her. The shelter revealed Perdita was adopted and will go home to a family Saturday.

This is the shocking moment  at least two cops in Mexico City are caught on video assaulting a Liga MX soccer player and his pregnant wife.  Mariana Clemente shared a video clip on Twitter of how Wednesday's traffic suddenly turned violent when she refuses to allow a traffic cop to inspect her handbag. Clemente is seated on the passenger side of the BMW next to star Pumas UNAM goalkeeper Alfredo Saldívar when a female police officer reaches for her bag.

The five-year-old is filmed drifting into the space between two other toy cars in Muskegon, Michigan. He smiles at his adoring parents after performing the neat trick. The video begins with the youngster slamming on the accelerate before perfectly sliding into position.

Daredevil Vladimir Polianskii, of Saint Petersburg, performed a perfect forward-flip from a bench in an underground station in Moscow, Russia. He boasts a 233k Instagram following where he charters his spectacular stunts. The adrenaline-junkie, 23, has also filmed himself executing a somersault before landing on to the seat of a motorbike.

A thrill-seeker (pictured left), strapped into a human catapult (pictured right), was launched from New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia. Thousands of spectators gathered to watch jumpers celebrating Bridge Day. It commemorates the completion of the New River Gorge Bridge in 1977.
