  3. It is never just undergraduate students at risk, but PhD students & other academics, too. I’m sure Cambridge is trying to pretend this is a Trinity Hall problem, other universities are trying to pretend it is a Cambridge problem, but it isn’t: it’s every field, every institution.

    Musicians from outside of the UK will need to prove they have £1k savings (& pay £240) from next year in order to perform in the UK. I guess if the government’s goal is to shut down music/culture & halt the emergence of new artists they’re excelling 🥴

  8. I love my job so much, I hate being on strike, but it’s not cool to pretend everything is ok in UK universities. Staff are working two extra days each week, stress is high. I stand with colleagues in daily tears, off sick, and who are absolutely not ok. Join

    Because of "Watchmen." Decades of historians have been trying to let the world know about this massacre, and it took an alternate history comic book drama to break the wall of racism. IDK whether to laugh or cry, but let no one say fiction has no power in the real world.
