Melbourne weather: Hail pelts outer suburbs as firefighters continue to battle French Island blaze

Parts of Melbourne have been pelted with golf-ball sized hailstones after thunderstorms rapidly moved across much of southern Victoria, bringing damaging winds and heavy rainfall.
