Chicago rapper King Von got into his city's drill scene after his fluid storytelling style caught the ear of more-established rapper Lil Durk. Durk signed King Von to his Only the Family label and released his viral 2018 single "Crazy Story," which was included on his debut, Grandson, Vol. 1.

King Von was born Dayvon Bennett on Chicago's South Side and raised in the crime-ridden O Block neighborhood. By his teen years, Bennett had turned to crime himself and would spend years in and out of jail before he began rapping in 2018. After hearing some of his early tracks, Lil Durk took an interest in King Von and welcomed him into the Only the Family collective. His early single "Problems" gained some traction, but it was the captivating narrative of a robbery-turned-shootout on "Crazy Story" that broke through to a larger audience. A video for the song released in late 2018 was streamed over 20 million times. This put King Von on the map and he followed it with the single "Cousins" featuring JusBlow600 in March of the next year. To further his rising career, he relocated from Chicago to Atlanta. His debut effort, Grandson, Vol. 1, landed that September. Featuring Lil Durk on a pair of tracks, the set debuted at 75 on the Billboard 200.

A native of Loganville, Georgia, singer/songwriter Jon Langston began playing guitar in his early teens, gravitating toward football in his college years. After some injuries left him sidelined, he rekindled his interest in country music and began writing songs that he played for friends, and posted on YouTube. Encouraged by his music's reception, he contacted producer Josh Manuel and headed to Atlanta to record his first EP, Young & Reckless, which he self-released in 2013. Citing both country and rock influences from George Strait to Staind, Langston's first few songs fared well on the iTunes country charts and he soon found himself opening shows for bro-country artist Chase Rice. He followed up with a second EP in late 2013, which featured the feel-good single "Runnin' on Sunshine," co-written by fellow Georgian and former Voice contestant Jordan Rager. Following his ambitions, Langston moved to Nashville, releasing the single "Party Boots" in 2014, followed by his third EP, Showtime. Released in May 2015, Showtime would prove to be Langston's first breakout reaching number 26 on Billboard's Top Country Album's chart. Wasting no time, he followed up that December with a self-titled EP faring equally well on the charts. Displaying his range, Langston next appeared on a 2016 track by Atlanta-based metalcore band Issues. A pair of chart-topping singles, "Prob'ly at a Bar" and "When It Comes to Loving You" followed in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

The Krönungsmesse (German for Coronation Mass) (Mass No. 15 in C major, K. 317; sometimes Mass No. 16), composed in 1779, is one of the most popular of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 17 extant settings of the Ordinary of the Mass. This setting, like the majority of Mozart's mass settings, is a missa brevis, or short mass (as opposed to the more formal solemn masses or high masses, known as missas solemnis).

The mass in C major was completed on March 23, 1779 in Salzburg. Mozart had just returned to the city after 18 months of fruitless job hunting in Paris and Mannheim, and his father Leopold promptly got him a job as court organist and composer at Salzburg Cathedral. The mass was almost certainly premiered there on Easter Sunday, 4 April 1779. The first documented performance was at the coronation of Francis II as Holy Roman Emperor in 1792.

In the early twentieth century, Johann Evangelist Engl, the archivist of the Salzburg Mozarteum, expressed the view that this mass was composed for and took its name from a remembrance celebration for the crowning of the image of the Virgin at Maria Plain outside Salzburg. This theory has been discounted.

The mass appears to have acquired the nickname Krönungsmesse (Coronation Mass) at the Imperial court in Vienna in the early nineteenth century, after becoming the preferred music for royal and imperial coronations as well as services of thanksgiving. The nickname was included in the first edition of the Köchel catalogue of Mozart's works in 1862.

Musical allusions to this mass appear in the slow movement of the Symphony No. 98 and the Harmoniemesse of Mozart's contemporary, Joseph Haydn.

A melody-driven, AOR/classic rock outfit based out of Helsingborg, Sweden, the Night Flight Orchestra has ties to a wide array of established hard rock bands, including Soilwork, Arch Enemy, Darkane, and Spiritual Beggars, among others. Formed in 2007 by Soilwork's Björn Strid and David Andersson, the group eventually morphed into a five-piece with the additions of Sharlee D'Angelo, Richard Larsson, and Jonas Källsbäck, all of whom appeared on the band's 2012 debut, Internal Affairs, released by Coroner Records. They expanded again in 2015 with the arrival of multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Forslund, who marked his debut with the release of the group's sophomore effort, Skyline Whispers. In 2017, the band inked a deal with Nuclear Blast and released Amber Galactic, which earned a Swedish Grammy Award nomination.

Description : AMARANTHE - 82nd All The Way (Sabaton Cover) - Official Video

This is our tribute to our upcoming tour partners Sabaton. The original version can be found on SABATON's current hit album »The Great War« (2019).

Guitarist Olof Mörck states, "People who are familiar with AMARANTHE know that we do not frequently do covers, but there was something quite irresistible about interpreting SABATON's '82nd All The Way'! While being thematically different from most of our songs, musically it made perfect sense, and it was a joy to pick the song apart and put it back together to something classically AMARANTHE sounding! So, this is our small tribute to the mighty Swedish War Machine that is SABATON; '82nd All The Way'!"

Today, HAMMERFALL have revealed new version of their beautiful, energetic ballad, “Second To One”, featuring Noora Louhimo of Battle Beast. The original track was featured on HAMMERFALL’s chart-breaking album Dominion, which was released in August 2019 via Napalm Records.

Noora Louhimo’s bittersweet vocals compliment Joacim Cans’ equally multifaceted performance, making this duet a true musical highlight of the new year. Beautiful harmonies, emotional storytelling and powerful vocal lines weave throughout the song and will light your way in dark times. The song preaches themes of trusting your instincts and following your own heart, as well as taking time for yourself.

Guitarist Oscar Dronjak on “Second To One”: “It all started with Joacim suggesting we should try to write a song together with our long time producer James Michael. We went over to Los Angeles for a weekend, not knowing what to expect. Within the first 30 minutes, I played an idea I had for James. He immediately responded with some chords and melodies, and we took it from there. Together, we wrote the music in just a couple of hours and met the next day to just finalize all the details. That’s how fast it can go sometimes when you get a feeling for something and the snowball just starts rolling, and it’s the greatest feeling in the world! The ‘hit-or-miss’ weekend in this case definitely turned out as a hit!”

Singer Joacim Cans on the duet: “Already during the writing process I had the feeling this song would be perfect as a duet – a sort of modern ‘Ozzy & Lita Ford’. I have had my eye on Battle Beast and Noora Louhimo for quite some time and was blown away by her vocal skills and stage presence. I had a feeling our voices would be a perfect match. When we decided to make the duet idea reality, I just picked up the phone and called Noora who instantly said ‘Hell Yeah!’ Working with Noora was nothing but awesome and we bonded the second we met. Not only is she an extremely talented vocalist, she is also a fantastic human being. The great connection between Noora and I really shows in the video clip for the song.”

Noora Louhimo on the duet and the video shooting: “I was contacted by Joacim and asked if I wanted to do a duet with him on “Second To One”. My first thought was ‘what an honor’ and that I needed to listen to this song to make my final decision. Once I heard it, I knew it was going to be something special and agreed on the collaboration. I flew to Gothenburg for the sessions and even though I hadn’t met Joacim or the others from Hammerfall before, it felt very natural and easy to work with them. I also agree with Joacim that we hit it off right away and you can see that in the music video how comfortable things were between us. I am so excited to be part of this and to go on tour with them with Battle Beast in the end of January.”
