    As vacation draws to an end I am blessed to love & be loved by a family I adore & grateful for the work I do as a journalist & sharply aware what happens on Twitter rarely reflects anything I find in daily life as mother/daughter/grandmother or as a reporter covering our country

    In my estimation there is no patch of geography in this country that is the middle of nowhere-this is America; everywhere is the middle of somewhere. Signup now as I head cross country to get the stories first; it’s free, fun & not fattening at all 🇺🇸

    Prayers for all of you Jason

    My son is finally in his momma’s arms, which has helped a lot but he’s still in a lot of pain. I’ve cried so many tears of horror in the last 14 hours. I haven’t slept. But I’ve also cried so many years of gratitude for everyone who has prayed for my baby boy or reached out.

    So . You know my mom is half Italian, right? I get here to see her & she immediately feeds me. Then tells me to have cake for lunch. 😂 She said she’ll wake up early to make me breakfast again. 😂

    Everytime I do a governor’s race I am disappointed at how uninterested most state capitol journalists are in writing about candidates’ policy proposals. I need to stop being surprised.

    Key subtext of this piece: Democrats are making a deliberate choice to run a campaign toward milennials/minorities INSTEAD of running a campaign aimed at the checkmate of winning Wisconsin. Campaigns are choices & Dems choose to not do the thing that would beat Trump.
