Last night
As the U.K. prepares to leave the EU, asylum seekers are trying harder to get there. At least 1,501 migrants tried to cross the English Channel in 2019, almost 3 times the figure for all of 2018, according to French authority.

Remember, while we in the UK are at home celebrating Christmas this year there are migrants trying to flee Western European countries like France and Belgium for a better life. One migrant even had to spend six months in Belgium. Truly heart breaking.
