Pope on a rope

Slightly off subject but as i have a few minutes to spare and no time to post music i thought i would widen my field of vision with the Craplister blog.
If i come across ANYTHING that i consider amusing crap i will post it.
I will still stick to music in the main but every now and then something catches my eye and i can no longer resist the temptation to add it to this page

So tonight, to commemorate the popes visit to America how about some tasteful souvenirs...

Kenny Heart of Stone

Even as i child the Bizarre vocals on this song used to crack me up.
For the record the singer is a man, a man who has obviously caught his testicles in a car door.

This is not so much singing as screaming

Tony Collins Try a little tenderness

No relation to Phil Collins (i hope)
This one moved me to tears(of laughter)
My current favourite, i think you'll agree a classic version of a classic song, loving the echo machine....

Reginald Bosanquet Newsletter

I had an e-mail this evening from fellow lover of crap music who asked a question.

"What's on the B Side of Dance with me by Reginald Bosanquet ?"

70`s ITN newsreader Reginald Bosanquet was my first ever craplister audio post
Suddenly it made me realise, if these are the A sides, what the hell must the B side sound like ?
I have re posted the Original Reg Record below But here is the other side
Not as good but still worthy of a listing.

Reginal Bosanquet Dance with me

Reginald Bosanquet was a famous ITN Newsreader in the 70`s

in 1980 he made a disco record, probably the worst disco record ever made...

Lucy in the sky with diamonds

To show that the idea of this blog is for nothing more than amusement and that there is no malicious intent in my postings i think it my duty to post this audio recording

I think i have mentioned before that i have been helping my elderly father clear out his loft of some old rubbish.
This has been much more fun than i imagined it would be because apart from some quite amazing tat, i have also found lots of happy memories.

Amongst this stuff was a pile of old reel to reel tapes.

Some of them haven't been played for 20 or 30 years so i needed to find a player before i could even listen to them.
Most contain music recorded off the radio but now and then there are the odd gems like the family taking, or us as children singing.
I have no idea when this was recorded or how old i am at the time, but for your entertainment and my embarrassment i give you......
ME ! single a track from the Sgt Pepper Album (it had the lyrics written on the back)

That all time classic Beatles song Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Please pay special attention to my excellent guitar accompaniment and vocal harmonies

Why i never became a pop superstar i will never know.

Telex Rock around the clock

Take one of the happiest sounding songs in the world.
Suck all the life and soul out of it.
And make it sound like music to slit your wrists to.

These poor men sound depressed to me
