    Several businesses have been selected to provide guided float trips and/or fishing trips on the Snake River as park concessioners. The new concession contracts will begin in January 2020 and expire in December of 2029.

    Grooming has started on the Teton Park Road. It's over-snow access on the majority of the Teton Park, Moose-Wilson and Signal Mountain Summit Roads. Enjoy! And, thanks to the Grand Teton National Park Foundation for supporting the grooming operations.

    Last night we responded to a semitrailer incident at the Gros Ventre Roundabout. No injuries, but damage to the roundabout infrastructure. Incident is under investigation. Thanks to WY Highway Patrol, Jackson Hole Fire and EMS, Teton County Sheriff's Office & our park staff.

    Semi-truck off Highway 89 near Teton Point, north of Moose. Expect temporary delay as crews recover truck and return to road. Roads are slick and snow covered, and there is occasional limited visibility north of Moose. Please slow down and drive with caution.

    The National Park Service has selected Rendezvous River Sports of Jackson, Wyoming, to provide guided multi-day lake trips on Jackson Lake as a park concessioner. The new 10-year concession contract will begin in January 2020.

    An elk reduction program begins Sat Nov 2 in Grand Teton. The park’s enabling legislation of 1950 authorizes Grand Teton to administer an elk reduction program w/ WY Game & Fish when necessary for proper management & conservation of the Jackson Elk Herd

    Due to the road conditions, today's road closure north of Colter Bay has changed. There will be no morning closure. Park visitors should expect a 4-hour afternoon closure approx 5 miles north of Colter Bay at Arizona Creek on U.S. Highway 89/191/287 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

    One pre-cast wing wall weighs approximately 46,000 pounds and therefore requires a large crane to set the walls in place. The crane will take up both lanes of traffic once set up. (4/4)

    The scope of work at Arizona Creek is to replace 4 failing concrete wing walls that channel water into the box culverts & protect the adjacent bank. Pre-cast wing walls will be installed by using a crane to move them and set them in place. (3/4)

    Closures will occur in the morning & in the afternoon each day, w/ time between closures for one-way traffic access through the area. Currently the South Gate of Yellowstone is closed. Those wishing to access or depart Yellowstone can do so from Yellowstone West Entrance. (2/4)

    The purpose of the plan is twofold: 1) aid in the conservation of a native population of Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep in the Teton Range whose status is tenuous, and 2) protect other park resources and values from the rapidly growing non-native mountain goat population. (2/2)
