Chilean military plane carrying 38 people declared as 'crashed'

The C-130 Hercules cargo plane, which departed from the city of Punta Arenas, lost radio communication while flying to an Antarctic airbase, Chile's Air Force said in a statement. A search and rescue mission with the help of the Chilean President, Sebastian Piñera, and the Minister of Defence, Alberto Espina, is underway.
