    The elected chiefs of Wet’suwet’en nations say they learned through the media that Hereditary chiefs, the BC and federal governments agreed to a memorandum of understanding over title rights. They say they weren't consulted and the MOU wasn't ratified by the Wet’suwet’en people.

    NEW: Wet'suwet'en Hereditary Chiefs have agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding they reached in February with the federal and BC governments to "affirm and implement Wet'suwt'en title and rights." They have proposed a signing date of May 14.

    Unifor Local 87-M — which represents several hundred Postmedia staff in Ontario — tells its members that it will not agree to the company’s announced pay cuts to staff, saying they cannot be unilaterally imposed under their CBA. Other Postmedia units have taken the same position.
