Infekcja "s/t" 7"

After seeing that Infekcja are playing in London with Hiatus, Sedition and Cress in few days I remembered that I have their 7" and don't know how it sounds. When I pulled it out I realised why. I know that the cover matches their name (Infection), but come on... No wonder I was skipping it for so long.
Now that I finally got to play it I realised that I missed quite a few years of listening to Infekcja because their scandi crust really delivers. And the vocalist... really great.
Anyway, they come from Poland and this is their first 7" and if you need another great crust record in your collection this could be just what you're after.

If you'll be somewhere in the neighbourhood
, be sure to check them out on their tour that starts in few days. You can see the dates on their MySpace page. Enjoy.

Enough!/Juggling Jugulars split 7"

Since I'm quite occupied (more like obsessed) lately with some other, non-music related stuff, my posts are quite rare and I can't seem to find time for doing this, but for those of you that come here here's little something. I'll be short, so...
This 7" is the result of the 1996 tour that the two bands had. These Juggling Jugulars tracks also appear on their "New Toys" CD. Like always, you can find more info on the web. Now go and enjoy this Polish/Finnish punk feast.

Sanctus Iuda/Sarcasm split 7"

I've already posted one Sanctus Iuda split 7" (with Dog On A Rope). This time it's split with UKs Sarcasm, also a result of a tour together. If you're not familiar with the bands, SI played really great crust (one of my favourite polish crust bands in the 90s) with lyrics often aimed against the church and Sarcasm played more noisy (Disorder kinda noisy) hardcore punk. Two of the members are in even more "Disorderish" noisy band now - The Wankys. You should check them out too. SI stuff from this and two more of their split EP's was released as "Jap Pressing: EP's Of Sanctus Iuda" on Profane Existence Far East and I guess you could still track it down on some distros.

02. Sanctus Iuda - Radio Ma Ryja

Nula/Enough! split 10"

This was requested by Danijel, so here it is.
This split is a result of Nula european tour in '97 whose Polish part they did with Enough!.
Nula is Croatian anarcho hardcore punk band that marked nineties punk scene here (and basically in all ex-Yugoslavia). In 1994 they released 90 minute tape accompanied with the fanzine (you can find it here) of angry political music while the war was still a reality here (strange, but there wasn't d-beat bands outburst - hence the war). At that time the scene was pretty much dead. After the release of that tape the whole scene seemed to become alive with bands and zines popping up everywhere and that was really the golden age (in my opinion) of the ex-Yu scene. I could write alot more about them, but let's focus on this release. Here they offer 6 live songs recorded in Rostock on that tour with the last one being cover of Scuffy Dogs, the band from Slovenia whose drummer Sašo was driving the van and singing this song on tour.
Enough! are from Poland and they play slow and heavy crust with downtuned guitars that give them that Dystopia feeling. They also offer 6 of their songs (first three are melting one into another). The stuff on this split is from their 1st tape called "Darkside" that was only available in Poland. At the time of recording they had male and female vocalists (later just male).
The thing with this record is that the bands wanted to make a little reminder of the tour and also to put some of their "older" stuff on vinyl.

Label: Humanita Nova / Malarie Records / Trujaca Fala

Stracony "Love And Friendship" 7"

I've stumbled upon Stracony web site and seen that they don't have this 7" in their releases section. I guess that this is kind of rare shit so here you go and grab it. If you're into Crass/Conflict classic peace punk fe/male vocals type of bands, this rocks good in these ranks. The band comes from Poland.
I don't remember the year when I bought this and there is no info on the cover when this was released, but I guess it's somewhere between 1995 and 1999.

Dog On A Rope/Sanctus Iuda split 7"

The last record in Dog On A Rope series. I'm not sure, but I think that's all that these nice folks released.
Anyway, here they share split 7" with Polish Sanctus Iuda (one of my favourite Polish bands from the 90s). Here they covered DOAR song with changed lyrics to fit their local i
nsane wanker.
I guess this record is a result of their Polish tour that ended tragically for the band when their stand in bassist Dave Roberts was found dead with his throat cut. The local police tried to say that it was suicide. That's a bit strange way to commit suicide, don't you think?
P.S. Severed heads on the cover are from John Tyndall of the British National Party and Bolek Tejkowski of
the Polish National Party.

Post Regiment "Post Regiment"

Wanted to post their "Czarzły" album, but a friend of mine has just posted it a couple of days ago on his blog, so I've decided to put the first album.
One of the best known and most important Polish punk bands of all time. Hailing from Warsaw, Post Regiment gained international "fame" in punk circles that lasts since early 90s 'till now. Even people with more aggressive musical taste couldn't resist their melodic, yet fast and tight version of punk rock with great energetic vocals of their singer Nika.
I also have this on LP, but it has only 19 songs since last 4 songs are from another recording session.
You can find out more about them here.
