Dukes is tied for first place of best places we dined on our trip! Dukes has a fabulous atmosphere, service, and food. If you have a budget on your trip, make sure to budget in to go to Dukes! Located in Lihue, right on Kalapaki Beach, they have formal dining upstairs, and more relaxed dining on the main floor. They do not take call ahead seating, but do have a free vallet service. We loved being able to wait for our table right on the beach. The food we ordered included: Smo...ked Pork Nachos to share (Big enough for 4 to 6 people), Macadamia Nut crusted fresh fish, Cheeseburger, Chicken Beet salad, Ribs, and to finish it off we had their famous Hula Pie! Every single plate was delicious. Our drinks were never empty, and our server was quick and friendly. The ambiance mixed with the great Hawaii food was the best addition to our trip. 100% recommend.
