    I tried ‘s suggestion of 1 problem on a 1/4 sheet of paper-Ss choose one question to turn in for feedback. I made each question a different color so I got quick feedback about what Ss felt like they were struggling with. Helpful for me and Ss!

    Did this today with students! Really like it. Students need to identify a mistake in each of the problems. Then reflect what mistakes they make when solving multi-step equations!

    Lots of graphing happening in math workshop! Students used to record their data, to practice interpreting picture graphs & bar graphs, and multiplication cards to create a bar graph based on products.

    So much proud of my 6th grade SS They all succeed solving one-step equations using multiple representations. Finishing up this Friday with a big smile 😀👏🏼

    When I started changing my teaching practice, it wasn’t the kids who had the greatest difficulty in terms of the change. It was me. Students are amazing. Forgiving. And need to know that their teacher is still learning how to be better and do better. ❤️
