    All the W. Indian & Mexican guys (&some women) on the farms around here work incredibly hard AM to PM/7 days/we, spend months away from home for little $ (to us) but a lot to them and their families. Cdns wouldn't/couldn't do this. Would require huge change in culture & economy

    Canadian farmers bring in thousands of foreign workers every year to plant seeds and harvest crops. Farmers say there are risks to replacing the temporary foreign workers with Canadians.

    Issuing $750 fines to the homeless, as happened recently in Hamilton, will not help us “plank the curve”. It will, however, drive those people into darker corners of our cities, where they will be even further from the help that they need.

    Things are fucking terrible for people who don't have a credit card and/or car now that everything is curbside delivery. I didn't have those things for most of my life so I can imagine the added stress of not having them now and it makes me feel sick.
