    Today a pregnant lady, immediately after getting down from a local train at Kharagpur PF no.5, complained labour pain. She was Immediately attended by lady constables & she delivered a baby at platform in presence of Medical staff. Later mother & baby was sent to Rly hospital.

    The track is now restored and certified fit at 11.30hrs for running of through passenger trains between Shivamogga Town and Talguppa. Normal train services in the section will resume.

    Restoration of track between Shivamogga Town to Talguppa. Track between Shivamogga Town to Talguppa whii was suspended from 21.15 hrs of 09.08.19 due to heavy downpour and water flowing above track in many locations between Shivamogga Town to Talguppa.
