IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC Chart Issued at 6:09 am EDT Saturday on 02 November 2019 A broad cloud band with embedded thunderstorms extends through South Australia, western NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. This feature is associated with a surface and upper level trough and cold front. High level cloud is streaming ahead of the main cloud band across the remainder of southeastern Australia. Another frontal system has developed over the Bight with cold southwesterly winds continuing to bring showers to the southwest of Western Australia. Onshore winds are bringing showers along the Queensland coast and a high over the Tasman Sea remains slow moving. Patchy high based cloud is evident elsewhere across northern Australia.
