Following the release of new ProtonVPN servers in Serbia, all instances of the ProtonVPN Windows client version 1.8.1 crashed due to a bug. A hotfix is being deployed on the API side, but all users of the ProtonVPN Windows client version 1.8.1 are advised to update to the most recent version.

There is a network incident with an upstream provider which appears to be preventing a portion of ProtonMail users from reaching our website. We are working with upstream network providers on resolving the issue.

Due to some upstream networking issue, connectivity to our Portuguese VPN servers is partially unavailable. We are trying to resolve the issue with upstream providers.

In order to deploy across all ProtonVPN exits a major stability improvement to IKEv2 connectivity, small network interruption might happen on each exit for few seconds/minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience.

There is a partial outage of ProtonMail and ProtonVPN impacting a significant fraction of users globally. Our engineering team is currently investigating and working on the issue and we will report back when we have more information.

A failure on one of Proton's backend storage devices is making the service unavailable for some users. We have identified the issue and are working on a fix.

Due to an upstream server intervention the ProtonVPN German servers DE#1-4 will be unavailable today for 3 hours starting at 10:00 CEST.
