is there a version of this to send to people without twitter? eg on youtube?
-
Hi! They can still see the video if you send them a Twitter link. They don't need to have an account.
-
Yes, but sadly most of my acquaintances on facebook do not bother to open a Twitter-link. I would really love to show it to them, though. I searched for the video on the abc news site, but couldn´t find it there.
-
Type in "Greta helpline" on facebook, and you can share an embedded video from there. I did the same thing for the exact reason you stated.
-
Oh, thanks for the advice. I´ll try.

Mocking, or laughing at your opponents is one of the worst means of convincing them. Nonetheless, so many people resort to those so often. It is especially dangerous as the consequences shall affect all of us.
-
Yes, it’s horrifying that these comedians are undermining your enormously important efforts on this front, which would otherwise have opened the eyes of tens of thousands of scientifically illiterate politicians and pundits. When we all fry, I will be sure to blame the satirists.
-
Well, I'm not that serious on the topic, and I'm not blaming comedians. Yes, the video is funny, but I've seen many people who only got more rooted in their opinions after being laughed at. And I also have seen people who changed their minds after several peaceful discussions.
-
That's not only about politicians and businessmen, a lot of common folks are mistaken about climate change. And the power of the former ones gains from their opinion.
-
However counterproductive it is to ridicule a sincere but misinformed person face-to-face, it’s actually a good idea to publicly mock the most bizarre behaviour, e.g. babbling apoplectically about brainwashing when a girl says “Trust science.” The Overton window needs that nudge.
-
With this I cannot and don't want to argue. Thank you for clarifying your position. I was wrong.
-
Good man.

She's not trying to save the planet. She's pushing an ideology she believes in and financed by who will take advantage out of its implementation.

The only thing that could happen if we’re wrong about climate change (which is scientifically proven but let’s humor the idea), is we made healthier decisions as a species. Oh no, we discontinued fossil fuel usage and started using renewable energy. The horror
-
What if we make the world better for nothing? That would be a disaster!

We could even save species that don't deserve to survive! Like the pandas, and the English

Tears of laughter here from an Englishwoman. That was so funny! Thank you for cheering me up after another day of embarrassing chaos on this insane island.
