Spizzles - In Concert 1980

First there was "Spizz Oil, then Spizz Energi, and then, oh there were so many Spizz incarnations that I most probably would get them wrong if I tried. "Spizzles" was their last (I think) incarnation. I was always a Spizz fan even though I felt they never quite matched their early classics like "6,000 Crazy" and "Soldier Soldier", they still managed to produce some very good music. This concert was recorded of Radio 1 around the same time as their album "Spikey Dream Flowers" was released.

The recordings a little ropey, and one warning if your looking forward to hearing "Soldier Soldier" as I was, when I taped it, its rudely interrupted by a loud "Gary Crowley" closing the show. You still get some classics here including one of their live favourites "Clocks are big machines are heavy" at an amazing 29 seconds long.

So try it out and see what you think, and leave a comment, and yes the cover is homemade, as I hate seeing that white space in iTunes.
