Jorge Ben- Africa Brasil

I love this album. With all the attention paid to Jorge Ben on various (Excellent) Tropicalia compilations , I just don't understand why this album hasn't gotten the reissue love that it deserves. On Africa Brasil, Ben's sound has evolved into a driving brand of melodic but heavy hitting 70s Brazilian funk & soul. The result is simply dynamite.
