Founded in 2002 by cartoonist Dylan Williams, Sparkplug Books is committed to providing artists whose talents deserve a larger audience with the starting place to find it. We consider being a small publisher a privilege and we intend to stay small. We publish and distribute the works of the brightest and best cartoonists working in comics today so that they can receive wider recognition for said work. In June 2016 Sparkplug’s backlist catalog moved to Alternative Comics. No new titles will be published under the imprint.
