what you can hope to find
As I venture out into my next chapter of living for JESUS, I will be mobile, living full time in an RV and going wherever the LORD leads me, to do whatever He blesses me to do for Him. I have done many things in the past in my life of service to our LORD, but I am now awaiting my specific marching orders for the days to come.
The greatest burden of my heart is to encourage those who do not know the LORD, to realize it does not matter from what place they may have fallen from, or what bottomed out state they may be sitting in, JESUS CHRIST came and died to set any and all free from the bondages of death and sin, and all that He offers is freely theirs if they have the ears to hear His gospel message and choose to Believe!
I am also passionate about building up those who do choose to believe so that they can become mature and complete in CHRIST and pick up their crosses to follow JESUS where ever He may lead.
I love to write, and I love fellowship with other believers, so I hope for this site to be a place where you feel the presence of our LORD’s love for you and are encouraged in some way to move passionately forward in your Journey for CHRIST!
Some thoughts
In the age we live in, Christianity is being adulterated in many ways, and I believe GOD is burdening His church to bring it’s focus back to the Cross, where the primary plumb line of belief is stayed upon what our LORD JESUS CHRIST did on that Cross. As John 3:16-18 says: “For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of GOD.
This is not a truth that we graduate from and minimize its importance on our journey of faith, but it is a truth that we continue to understand and develop in our hearts to a deeper and deeper revelation, which becomes to a greater depth the anchor to everything in life as we Live for JESUS. To move from this Truth moves you from the simplicity of what your faith is built upon, and draws you into the murky waters of confusion brought upon by man’s own reasoning.
Every situation we face in life is resolved in our hearts at the Cross, by what we believe because of the faith we have in the sacrifice JESUS made for us on that Cross. For everything that has been promised to us would be impossible to come to fruition if our faith does not have its central focus on the work of the Cross, and what that means for those who believe. Mankind is forever trying to make an easier way in this life by avoiding the personal death that is experienced as one submits his life to JESUS and picks up his (her) Cross to follow after Him.
Making laws out of rituals to sanctify ourselves is easier to the flesh than giving up our own glory in any part of the goodness of our own efforts to save ourselves, than accepting what JESUS alone did by sacrificing His life for all who would believe.
Its so simple, yet the flesh hates to die and allow GOD alone to be glorified by our lives, yet, there is glorious freedom outside of ourselves in JESUS CHRIST. However, anyone that moves away from the Cross, the fundamental and only true anchor in our journey of faith, they will bring into their lives more and more misery and it will continue to become more and more difficult the further he or she gets from the foundation of their faith, as they continue to look for new “ways†to accomplish what could only be done on the Cross by GOD’s own Son. For John 14:6 says: I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
I choose to live this Truth out in my life, and to share it with those who do not know the saving grace given to all who believe in the finished work of JESUS CHRIST our LORD, as He went to that Cross; died, was buried and rose again from the dead; where He now sits at the right hand of the Father forever making intercession for us until He returns to rapture His church (Ro 8:34).
When I say I choose to believe, I have not perfected my journey, but JESUS is the perfection that I will hold onto tightly. I will also always love and embrace the blessed fellowship of those who believe, and the lost whom JESUS died to make the Way for, as I came to Him myself at the worst possible place one could find themselves in this journey of life.
May the LORD prepare the hearts of many to receive this life giving truth, and may He raise up many workers who will go out into the harvest fields, as they are ripe and waiting upon His Harvest! But pray for workers for the Harvest!
