Here is the full program for the 2018 version of our annual zine celebration weekend, Festival of the Photocopier!
Thursday 8 February:
8pm: #FOTP2018 Launch Party, upstairs at The Tote with live music from Eat-man, Bogano, Tina Growls, and - launching their new album Lick The Cream - Made Austria. Event here.
Friday 9 February:
5pm: Queer Pals Zine Launch at Sticky with the release of Queer Content #5 and Concrete Queers #9 / Concrete Queers #10. Event here.
Saturday 10 February (in Sticky):
12pm: Incredibly Hot Sex With Hideous People Launch plus a discussion on the current New Zealand zine scene with visiting NZ zinesters. Event here.
1.30pm: Dexter Fletcher presents Not to Attach Any Fixture: A Social History of Blu Tack and Its Uses and Abuses Among Members of the Renting Classes
2pm: Hello, Hallo presents Pigeons of Japan zine launch. Will include pigeon-shaped cookies. Event here.
3pm: Helio Press presents Gemma Flack’s Mirror Selfie and Benjamin Constantine’s Projection Dripple joint zine launch. 30 extra special risograph packs available. Event here.
Saturday 10 February (outside Sticky):
10am + 12pm: Queer Pals Zine Tour at the Australian Lesbian & Gay Archives. Booking is essential. Book here.
2pm: Zine collection tour at State Library Victoria. Booking is essential.

Sunday 11 February:
12-5pm: Festival of the Photocopier Zine Fair 2018. The massive zine fair is taking place at Melbourne Town Hall on Swanston Street, with over 300 zinemakers selling their wares in the heart of the city. Poster by Renee Kypriotis. Event here.
12-5pm: Small Zine Volcano presents The Free Zine Swamp, in the Condell Room of Melbourne Town Hall.While you’re here, why not also visit, on Tuesday 13 February…5pm: Save Campbell Arcade screening at Loop. A short documentary by David Mahler about the impending closure of Sticky, followed by short panel. Event here.Sticky Institute acknowledges that Festival Of The Photocopier is being held on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, and Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
