    Four Air Force fighter aircraft touched down at Šiauliai Air Base to take over the lead of NATO's Baltic Air Policing (BAP) from the Air Force. Belgian was the first Ally to start BAP mission in the region in 2004

    In the interests of peace and security takes the lead over the 51st rotation Baltic Air Policing (BAP) mission today. 4 🇧🇪 # F16 will safeguard the airspace over 🇱🇹 🇱🇻 🇪🇪. BAP is a peacetime mission to protect the integrity of the airspace of the Alliance.
