    Irrespective of election’s outcome, industrial production to remain subdued in the near term as headwinds from the global economy persist & liquidity needs to be a lot easier before it boosts consumption. Going by the fiscal health revival of Govt spending seems highly unlikely.

    On trend basis (3 Months), grew mere 0.5%,a six-years’ low.The slowdown is broad based with tight liquidity, govt spending cut & slowing global trade affecting durable, non-discretionary consumption & capital goods. While the labour-intensive sectors continued to struggle.

    Factory output sinks to 23-month low. March Index of industrial production comes at -0.1% . Manufacturing growth at -0.4% against -0.3% month-on-month.

    दो माह पहले तक सरकार कर्ज में फंसे जेट एयरवेज को बचा रही थी अब ईडी और सीरियस फ्रॉड ऑफिस जेट में घोटालों की जांच कर रहे हैं. अगर जेट घोटाला था तो किसके कहने पर स्टेट बैंक इसमें हिस्‍सेदारी खरीदी ? इसे उबारने की कोशिश क्यों हो रही थी?
