From Taala Hoogan Infoshop

Kinlani/Flagstaff, AZ — More than 120 participants and over 30 groups and organizations converged at Táala Hooghan Infoshop to discuss, debate, and share their perspectives on Indigenous Anarchism.

The initial call-out for the convergence stated, “…we call for those also seeking a fulfilling life free from domination, coercion, & exploitation to gather around this fire. For those sickened by fascinations with dead white-men’s thoughts (and their academies and their laws), reformist & reactionary “decolonial activisms”, and the uninspired merry-go-round of leftist politics as a whole. For all those ungovernable forces of Nature…”

From Anarchy Bang

There have been 283 mass shootings in the US in 2019, so far. That is more than one a day. It is hard to contemplate an anarchy that solved big problems but what if we did? Let's start with this one. Do we think a total anarchist transformation would make AR-15s magically disappear?

some MKE anarchists

Ten minutes before the Labor Day parade in Milwaukee WI, a group of jubilant anarchist trouble-makers walked the route with posters calling out AFSCME, the union that includes prison guards. This union relies on dues from, supports, and seeks to expand state jobs, including the toxic job screws do.

"Fuck gender, take a molotov, burn the police." These few words written on the sign are enough in today's Czech Republic to drive you to court. This is what happened to the anarchist songwriter performing under the name Beltza Gorria. The first hearing in her case took place on 9 July in the building of the District Court in Karviná. This was preceded by annoying her family and without sending her a cops summon (apparently it's harder than sending e-mails, sms and calling), they launched a search for her. After long secrets, she eventually learned that she was accused of "inciting the crime of violence against an official" and the police expressed their efforts to combine her activism with the Phoenix 2 case, although it makes no sense at all.

Recent evictions of several squats, some housing refugees and migrants, mark the beginning of a new chapter of repression and dissent in Greece.

In the autonomous Athens neighborhood of Exarcheia on the morning of Monday, August 26, hundreds of masked riot cops with tear gas at hand cordoned off an entire block. Overhead, helicopters circled the scene.

France : Letter from Anarchist Prisoner Embers, Imprisoned Since May Day in Paris

From Act For Freedom!

After being arrested in Paris on the eve of May 1 and spending three months in detention, orchestrated by the hunting grounds, the prosecutor who accuses, the judge who questions and the press that condemns, the possibility of my release has been canceled by the prosecutor because he thinks there is a risk of recidivism and because of my determination not to give up. They expect me to say that I accept that violence belongs to them, to condemn before their pressure the actions of comrades and the riots. They ask me about what I have in my head, and if I refuse to answer it is due to what lives in my heart.

Laure Batier speaks with Charles Reeve

From The Brooklyn Rail

The first complete French translation of Emma Goldman’s Living My Life (1931) was published in November 2018 by the Paris radical publisher L’échappée as Vivre ma vie; une anarchiste au temps des révolutions: the translators are Laure Batier and Jacqueline Reuss. The printing of 3,000 was sold out in a month, and a second edition continues to find a good response.
