    In Tennessee we have a lot of experience identifying this behavior. We call it racism and bigotry, abuse of power and unethical. It’s white supremacy plain and simple.

    What do you call it when you won’t do something for a black man that you would be happy to do for a white supremacist?

    TN House Speaker appears to have doctored an email that led to & the DA's office to go after activist . This Administration are breaking the laws, excusing racial slurs, & lying to lock up an activist!!!

    It’s not ok that one of the few TN Representatives that is a woman is being terrorized before our eyes.

    So I am back on the House floor, first time I have ever sat here and actually been afraid for my safety. This admin is out of control. We have moved beyond “drunk on power.”

    15 yr old Black boy, Lucca picked up a cell phone that fell out of the pocket of a Black boy who was being arrested. In response officers Christopher Krickovich & Greg LaCerra pepper sprayed, brutally beat, and arrested him. He broke no laws.

    Thank you Sen. for amplifying our battle for voting rights in Tennessee. Our successful efforts to register 90,000 voters should be celebrated and encouraged, not punished.

    Voter registration drives should be encouraged and promoted, not suppressed. This is a shameful attempt at voter suppression in Tennessee by GOP lawmakers.
