    Spent the morning trying to help a friend get her account back after someone hacked it and changed the email/password. It seems like there was a recent change to the help center that has rendered this commonplace problem *literally unsolveable*.

    It was put in just for the PC version when it finally was released, so the players -- many of whom had been waiting for it for a long time -- got the message. Admittedly, it's a bit of a weird artifact at this point, because very few modern players will have that context. :)

    Thank you, I appreciate it! I also wrote that couch line, actually. It was a bit of... let's call it friendly snark. It refers to statements made by the publisher, insisting that the game was "best played on a couch" and thus no PC version was required. Good times!

    update: found a qr code that remedy put in that says something like "turns out this game is good even if you're not playing on a couch" which i relate to because i also feel like i need to qualify my older work
