Today is day 325 at the Yellow Finch tree sits and we are still here!

We are still asking folks to COME OUT HERE to Elliston to support and help us defend this… hillside. Just by being here, you are supporting the blockade. We are all safer and hold more power with the increase in numbers.

Mountain Valley Pipeline construction has reached the hillside that we have been defending for 325 days, and continues every day. Law enforcement and pipeline security presence is high — we need more people!

KEY DATES — Monday 7/29, and Monday 8/12. Remember the open court case in which MVP requested an injunction against the tree sitters and their supporters way back in December, but the federal judge has yet to rule? Yep, that one. MVP recently submitted a filing asking the judge to rule by Monday, July 29th. The company claims that the sits MUST be evicted by August 12, 2019, “or MVP will begin incurring hundreds of thousands of dollars in move around costs.”

Help us hold this space on Monday 7/29, through Monday 8/12, and beyond!
