This is your advanced notice that the wifey & I have purchased & plan to wear floor length sweat shirt dress/tunics for our Thanksgiving break. I’ve never been so excited about matching loungewear. Can you imagine being straight? Not I.

Yay! has been booklooked by ❣️ Gorgeous badass Asian woman overload! She captured so much of the mood here, too. If you haven’t read it, Jenny’s memoir is among my favorite adoptee works. She’s somehow as talented as she is beautiful. 🥰

BOOK NEWS: My book about queer kids in Kentucky is going to be published!! This story means everything to me, and the love and enthusiasm Nikki & the LBYR team have shown for it has made me happy-cry so many times already 😭 I'm so excited for it to find its readers! 🌳🌈🎉

Text: Nikki Garcia at Little, Brown has bought, at auction, world English rights to The Best Liars in Riverview, as well as an untitled novel, by Lambda Literary Fellow and debut author Lin Thompson. The middle grade novel stars 12-year-old Aubrey, who has been quietly questioning their gender identity, and their search for their missing best friend in the woods that used to be the kids' personal sanctuary. Publication is set for winter 2022; Beth Phelan at Gallt & Zacker brokered the deal.

Y'all we have lived thru a trauma. 2020 has tested all of us. So many lives lost during this pandemic. Children are without their parents. Black lives have been taken. Maybe we can finally start to heal and start this work. I know I'm ready.
