Jason Suecof

Jason Suecof (born April 3, 1980) is an American record producer, mixer, guitarist and song-writer.

Career

Suecof is best known for his production and song-writing with the band Trivium. He produces most of his albums at his own Orlando, Florida based studio, Audio Hammer. He has produced and/or mixed bands such as Austrian Death Machine, Battlecross,Chelsea Grin, All That Remains,Motionless in White, Bury Your Dead,August Burns Red,The Black Dahlia Murder,Dååth,The Autumn Offering,Luna Mortis,Chimaira,DevilDriver,God Forbid, If Hope Dies,Trivium, Job for a Cowboy,Whitechapel,Mutiny Within,Dir En Grey,Sanctity. and Odd Crew. Suecof has been a member of the technical death metal band Capharnaum, as well as the comic project Crotchduster (under the alias of Fornicus 'Fuckmouth' McFlappy). In 2010, he joined up with Howard Stern Show writer Richard Christy's (Ex-Iced Earth) new project, Charred Walls of the Damned as their guitarist. Jason is in a wheelchair due to spinal meningitis at age 2, though he makes light of his condition and retains a sense of humor about it.

Job for a Cowboy is an American death metal band from Glendale, Arizona. Formed in 2003, the band's debut album Genesis was released in 2007, peaking at No. 54 on the US Billboard 200 and selling 13,000 copies in its first week of release. The second album, 2009's Ruination, sold 10,600 copies in the United States in its first week to debut at position No. 42 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band comprises vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Tony Sannicandro and Al Glassman, and bassist Nick Schendzielos, with Davy being the only remaining founding member.

The band has played in international music festivals, including Sounds of the Underground, Download Festival, Mayhem Festival, Summer Slaughter, Graspop Metal Meeting and Wacken Open Air.

History

Formation and Doom (2003–2006)

Job for a Cowboy was founded in Glendale, Arizona during December 2003 by vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Ravi Bhadriraju and Andrew Arcurio, bassist Chad Staples, and drummer Andy Rysdam while the band members were no older than 15 and 16. In 2004, they created a MySpace profile, posted songs online, and immediately began to connect with several worldwide fans. Later that year, Staples and Rysdam left Job for a Cowboy and were replaced by Brent Riggs and Elliott Sellers respectively as bassist and drummer. Traffic to the band's MySpace profile increased exponentially in late 2005 when the band released their first EP, entitled Doom. The EP attracted the attention of Arizona independent label King of the Monsters, who distributed the disc after an initial self-released pressing by the band.

Mark Lewis (music producer)

Mark Lewis is an American hard rock/heavy metal music producer. Originally from the Southern Maryland area, Mark has since relocated to the Orlando, Florida area, and has been prolific recently with his mixing, tracking, and engineering duties at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.

Lewis has honed his skills with some of the top artists in hard rock and metal, having spent the last several years as the full-time engineer at Audio Hammer Studios working alongside acclaimed producer/mixer Jason Suecof. Lewis has engineered productions and/or mixes for established artists such as Chimaira, Trivium, DevilDriver, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Adrift, to name but a few. He is now producing and mixing projects from Audio Hammer's Studio B.

Jason

Jason (/ˈdʒeɪsən/; Greek: Ἰάσων Iásōn) was an ancient Greek mythological hero who was famous for his role as the leader of the Argonauts and their quest for the Golden Fleece. He was the son of Aeson, the rightful king of Iolcos. He was married to the sorceress Medea. Because he belongs to mythology, he may have existed before the Greek Dark Ages (1100–800 BC.) The people who wrote about Jason lived around 300 BC.

Jason appeared in various literary works in the classical world of Greece and Rome, including the epic poem Argonautica and the tragedy Medea. In the modern world, Jason has emerged as a character in various adaptations of his myths, such as the 1963 film Jason and the Argonauts and the 2000 TV miniseries of the same name. Jason is also the main character in the British TV series Atlantis.

Jason has connections outside the classical world, being the mythical founder of the city of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.

Hammer Film Productions

Hammer Films or Hammer Pictures is a British film production company based in London. Founded in 1934, the company is best known for a series of Gothic "Hammer Horror" films made from the mid-1950s until the 1970s. Hammer also produced science fiction, thrillers, film noir and comedies — and, in later years, television series. During its most successful years, Hammer dominated the horror film market, enjoying worldwide distribution and considerable financial success. This success was due, in part, to distribution partnerships with major United States studios, such as Warner Bros.

During the late 1960s and 1970s the saturation of the horror film market by competitors and the loss of American funding forced changes to the previously lucrative Hammer formula, with varying degrees of success. The company eventually ceased production in the mid-1980s. In 2000, the studio was bought by a consortium including advertising executive and art collector Charles Saatchi and publishing millionaires Neil Mendoza and William Sieghart.
