Chill man, everybody was being quite civil and no one was trying to argue or prove anybody wrong. It was a normal discussion, all in good humor. Give it a shot.
For example: Hey! I kinda know about this...you're right about that..., but this ...is actually wrong. Check this link out! It's super interesting.
Then you can have fun convos you know...
Edit: People have been kind enough to fill me in.
Welp, can't expect everyone to know every internet trivia. Here you go.
Haha! Thank you, didn't know that one. :) There are soooo many!!!
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand some reddit references. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of thesaurus most of the jokes will go over a typical reader's head.

That’s true, yeah. It’s only provocative because normal discussion is censored. It’s a protest, not just pure trolling
I'm sorry, but I find this hard to believe, since few people would unironically say they have a wrong opinion that directly.
It's our to-go reason when banning occasional shitposters. Obviously, the message is just for shit and giggles, and the real reason is because of their trolling, as in OP's case, but they are too stupid to realize that. It's always fun to read modmail afterwards.
Marking this as "serious", please keep replies constructive and to the topic.
Sounds like bullshit to me. How did it lose its leg? You're telling me the coyote had the cat in its jaws tight enough to cause the cat to lose its leg, but then managed to fight the thing off with its one remaining good leg and teeth? Once that thing's leg was destroyed, the coyote woulda ate what it wanted... unless the cat was hopping on its hind legs to stay off the destroyed one, AND only using one paw to attack. Bullshit.
The wound is healed so this obviously happened a while ago. You must have some social media posts about the incident when it happened. If you're willing to post it now, I'm sure there woulda been nothing stopping you then. I mean you claim to know what happened. So did you witness the cat fighting off a coyote? Or did you examine the wounds and come to that deduction? No, you had to have witnessed it either first hand, or on video, because you know it was protecting its kittens.
What really happened, you saw a three legged cat and snapped a quick picture for some karma? Kudos to you, it worked. People are idiots and will believe anything.
Edit- Someone pointed this out... Do a quick google image search and it shows this image leads to a go-fundme for "Food aid for 120 abused and disabled cats at a Yangon animal shelter, Myanmar"
Googling the image leads to a go-fundme for "Food aid for 120 abused and disabled cats at a Yangon animal shelter, Myanmar". I am starting to think it's just a random pic from there, with a made-up story.
They aren't wrong. Why share it to imgur if it's not meant for them?
I always use it incorrectly to annoy them
That's just stupid.
Would look pretty good without cheese or whatever that is, nope or looks alright. I bet it tastes amazing.
Where's the ignorance? It's not like you don't get low of nonsense comments on Reddit, too.
